Teaching Assistant required for Manchester based Pupil Referral Unit • Teaching Assistant at Pupil Referral Unit • Fixed term contract • City based - very easily accessible Teaching Personnel are working closely with a Pupil Referral Unit who are looking to take on a Teaching Assistant for a fixed term contract. Students at the school have been referred after exclusion from mainstream education, and usually have diagnosed mental health and social and emotional issues as well as displaying challenging anti-social behaviours. Due to this the students have a dedicated Educational Health Care Plan designed to support them in a way that is flexible and suits their specific needs. The Pupil Referral Unit hopes to recruit a Teaching Assistant who is already familiar with the Secondary curriculum, specifically Maths and English, or can show a good level of competency in these areas therefore is able to support the students with these essential core subjects.
