SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Smallfield, Surrey Salary: £13. Key duties include: • Building warm, caring, and supportive relationships with pupils • Promoting independence and personal development • Supporting the Class Teacher with the day-to-day running of the classroom • Adapting to the varying and changing needs of the school to support smooth daily operations • Supporting pupils' cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, and physical development • Occasional physical intervention may be required; full training will be provided Skills and qualifications: • GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 or above (or equivalent) • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential • Experience working in a special school or SEN environment is highly desirable • Team Teach training is desirable (training can be provided) This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with SEN in a specialist school setting.
