Your responsibilities will include:
* Opening and securing the school site each day
* Carrying out routine maintenance, repairs and general caretaking duties
* Monitoring the condition of the school buildings, grounds and facilities
* Managing contractors and overseeing site-based works
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
* Conducting regular premises and safety checks
* Maintaining records relating to site maintenance and statutory compliance
* Supporting with fire safety procedures and emergency response arrangements
* Assisting with room setups and school events where required
* Managing cleaning, security and facilities-related issues across the site
This is a varied role requiring someone who can work independently, prioritise tasks effectively and respond quickly to the needs of the school.

* Leading and developing the school's SEND strategy and provision
* Managing the identification, assessment and monitoring of pupils with SEND
* Coordinating and reviewing EHCPs, SEND Support Plans and intervention programmes
* Providing guidance and training to teaching and support staff
* Working closely with parents, carers and external agencies
* Monitoring the impact of interventions and SEND provision across the school
* Supporting teachers with differentiation and inclusive classroom practice
* Ensuring compliance with the SEND Code of Practice and relevant legislation
* Contributing to safeguarding, inclusion and pupil wellbeing initiatives

About the Role
Working closely with the Nursery Teacher and wider EYFS team, your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting children's learning and development through structured and play-based activities
* Delivering engaging learning opportunities aligned to the EYFS Framework
* Supporting communication, language and social development

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant / Behaviour Mentor to provide one-to-one support within a welcoming four-form entry junior school in Rugby, rated 'Good' by Ofsted. In the mornings, you will support a Year 3 pupil with SEMH and Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), helping them with emotional regulation, engagement, and successful reintegration into the classroom environment. All applicants will be subject to safer recruitment checks, including an Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
