For SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistants, the main focus is similar to a Teaching Assistant, but there are more responsibilities and independence, such as covering classes and planning and teaching their own lessons. You will plan and collaborate with teachers in order to prepare for lessons and encourage the pupils to become independent learners, while also being confident to manage the classroom and provide high-level learning for pupils when needed.
