The successful candidate will be expected to be able to support the MFL Department by providing assistance to students in Years 10 to 13, to improve their foreign language speaking skills and increase an understanding of the culture of the appropriate native country. To conduct conversation classes in German to inspire and challenge students, working with groups or individuals
To plan classes which will stimulate German conversation which are closely linked to course content
To deliver conversation classes for individuals, pairs and groups which will motivate and encourage students to speak German
To prepare and support students in their preparations for oral examinations
To monitor student attendance and performance, reporting back to the teacher
To support MFL staff by keeping up to date with current affairs and finding appropriate, stimulating learning materials for students
