Job description
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our growing team at Woodford Primary School. In this rewarding role, you'll play a vital part in supporting students with a variety of learning needs. You'll work alongside teachers to provide one-on-one or small group support, and empower students to reach their full potential.At Woodford Primary School our ambition is for all pupils to develop a full appreciation of the world in which they are growing up and to feel a sense of awe and wonder about the vastness of human creativity and achievement.We are seeking a motivated individual to join us on this journey.
The working hours for this position are: Monday - Friday 11:30am - 17:30pm.

This position is contracted on a30 hours per week Term Time Only + 1 week basis. This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so. In total you will be in work for a minimum of 38 out of 52 weeks.
Job Purpose
- To provide high standards of care and play opportunities for children between the ages of 4 and 11 years old in a safe, secure and stimulating kids club environment.
- To provide supervision of pupils during the lunchtime period both in the dining area and during playground activities.
Key Skills & Experience
- Sound educational background including GCSE's in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent
- NVQ Level 2 or above in childcare/play work or relevant qualification
- Experience of working in a school environment would be advantageous
