One of our partnership SEN schools in Stockport are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team for the new academic year. As part of safer recruitment guidelines, all candidates will be subject to standard vetting checks. As an SEMH TA, you will be working closely with students who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, providing individualized support and guidance to help them reach their full potential. Monitoring and tracking the progress of students, providing feedback and recommendations to teachers and parents. Ongoing professional development and training opportunities

The ideal candidate will be positive, confident in working with children, and able to build strong relationships with both pupils and colleagues. Participating in relevant training and courses as required. An understanding of child development and the needs of children with disabilities or challenging behaviour.
