Teach Science Differently

You might be an experienced mainstream Science Teacher who's become interested in SEND, SEMH or alternative provision and would like the opportunity to teach in a different way. A genuine desire to help young people overcome barriers to education. This is a permanent three-day-per-week position, offering the opportunity to continue doing the job you trained for without committing to a traditional five-day teaching week. The opportunity to develop valuable SEND and SEMH experience. - Building trusted relationships with pupils who have disengaged from mainstream education
- Working within specialist teams using restorative and therapeutic approaches
- Supporting pupils from KS2 through to post-16
What you'll need
- QTS, QTLS, or substantial equivalent experience
- Minimum one year in SEMH or Alternative Provision
- Enhanced DBS with children's barred list
- DBS Update Service registration
- Level 2 Safeguarding certificate
- Two professional references
- Right to work in the UK
