Previous experience supporting a child with visual impairment is desirable and not essential as the school sensory team will be on hand to provide support and additional training where necessary. If you do not have a subscription to the DBS Update Service, you may be required to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process.

It is a school for young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues, and raise aspirations for the young people that deal with these challenges every day. The role requires you to go out into the community and liaise with social workers, and family members to help these young people to engage with the curriculum as best they can.
