The Senior HLTA supports teachers and students in Special Educational Needs (SEN) settings, providing high-quality assistance to enhance learning and ensure student development. Support individual or small groups of students, ensuring they understand and complete tasks. Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents. Address and manage challenging behavior following school policies. Participate in meetings and contribute to individual education plans (IEPs). Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions. Extensive experience working with SEN students, preferably in a school setting. Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
