Primary Special Educational Needs Teacher Wanted

Location: Feltham

Job Type: Full-time, Contract - Temp to Perm

Salary: £180 - £220 a day, based on experience

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join our team at a state of the art SEN School. As a specialist in SEN, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support and guidance to children with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet the individual needs of students with SEN, including those with autism, dyslexia, ADHD, PMLD and other learning difficulties.

* Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to create Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and ensure effective communication and support for students.

* Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods and interventions as necessary to address emerging needs and challenges.

* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, and academic well-being of all students.

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching in a primary school setting.

* Substantial experience of supporting neurodiverse children, or with Autism (ASD) and/or Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs (SEMH) and an understanding of potential implications for communication, learning and behaviour and profound and multiple learning disabilities(PMLD).

* Strong understanding of different learning styles and the ability to adapt teaching approaches accordingly.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with students, colleagues, and parents.

* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN to reach their full potential.
