As a Classroom Support Assistant you will be responsible for supporting the Class Teacher with delivering the lessons, keeping pupils engaged, managing behaviour and in some cases assisting with feeding and changing depending on the needs of the pupils in the class.

Your role would be to provide support for pupils with SEND/SEMH additional needs, promoting good behaviour and providing them with strategies to cope with high pressure situations and feelings. 30am - 3:30pm)
Previous experience supporting individuals with SEND is essential. You will have to adhere to their EHC plan and differentiate your approach to meet each individual student's needs, meaning you will need to know your students well enough to establish a trusting relationship based on respect, providing them with a safe environment to learn and build confidence, while knowing your students triggers and routines.
