Class sizes are smaller than you'll find in a mainstream school, ensuring that you are able to work closely with students in the classroom, and make a real difference to their education. Teach Maths, ensuring effective lesson planning, learning interventions and behavioural management techniques are applied in the classroom, whilst adapting to meet the needs of the students. If you don't have experience of the required key stages, it's not a problem. Due to the nature of this role the successful candidate must be eligible and wiling to undergo Enhanced DBS checks.
The schools have delivered results within the Greater Manchester area within their existing centres and want to support more young people in the Wallasey area. Supporting students in their social and emotional development Assisting with classroom management and behaviour reinforcement Collaboration with the lead teacher and the wider school team to assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed. You will be responsible for delivery of key stage 3 & 4 within a secondary school setting; working as part of the wider departmental team to design and deliver the curriculum.
