As a Childrens Crisis Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting children and young people in crisis. Responsibilities include:
· Providing care and supervision in a residential and community setting
· Building trust with children through a range of therapeutic approaches and support strategies
· Managing complex behaviours while maintaining a calm, supportive atmosphere. · Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour in a calm and professional manner. Requirements:
· A minimum of 1 years UK experience working with vulnerable children and young people within a residential setting or similar
· Must be able to provide 3 years professional references
· Must have an Enhanced Adult & Child DBS registered on the update service or be willing to process a new one with Prospero
· A calm, empathetic, and patient approach, even under pressure.
