Engage Education is currently working with a rewarding but challenging alternative provision based in Idle, BD10 in Bradford that is urgently seeking caring and enthusiastic teachers/tutors for supply teaching to start ASAP.
The school caters to students with a wide range of needs including ASD, It caters to students across the Primary and Secondary age range. The role would involve tutoring young people across a range of subjects on a flexible and possibly part time basis.
Their aim is that every student has access to a curriculum that values each individual; nurturing them to develop their communication, social, emotional, academic, and vocational skills. The school believes that through collaboration, celebration, and challenge, that their students can be given every opportunity to succeed.
About the role:
The right SEND Teacher/Tutor will have the following:
- Qualified Teacher Status, 6 months previous SEND experience or tutoring expereince
- Ability to adapt tasks to meet the needs of individual children
- Effective behaviour management skills
- Effective communication with members of internal staff, including SENCO
- Flexible, adaptable and reliable
