We need a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as a secondary SEN Teaching Assistant, supporting secondary and post-16 pupils with autism.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing learning materials and organising classroom activities.
- Provide hands-on support and supervision, addressing emotional and physical needs.
- Foster individual development and engagement with the world.
- Adapt to various classroom roles, indoors and outdoors, based on individual requirements.
- Lead activities, facilitate outdoor experiences, and ensure safety during exploratory outings.
- Assist the classroom teacher in running exciting lessons & maintaining a clean and safe classroom.
Requirements:
- Experience in executing planned activities aligned with pupil interests and curriculum (desirable).
- Strong teamwork skills, coupled with the ability to share ideas and collaborate effectively.
- Passion for working with neurodiverse pupils, particularly those with autism.
- Experience working with young people with learning disabilities or autism is desirable.
