Job description

Role: Transactional Finance Team Leader

Salary: Up to £40,000

Location: Hybrid Remote / Cannock

Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday



Horizon Care has an opportunity for a Transactional Finance Team Leader to join our team based in Cannock.

About the role:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
  • Continuously assess existing financial processes to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Oversee the end-to-end process of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and customers to facilitate smooth financial transactions.
  • Lead and mentor a team providing guidance and support.
  • Set performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and identify opportunities for professional development.

Candidate Profile:

Essential:

  • A good working knowledge of VAT accounting requirements and processes would be an advantage

Desirable:

  • Experienced qualified accountant or qualified by experience.
