Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Highland, Highland, Nottingham
Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

Qualifications: Level 3 teaching assistant, manual handling

Job Duties:Required Qualifications:
- Supporting students with diverse needs
- Assisting in implementing individual education plan targets
- Utilising interventions and specialised equipment for student development
- Providing emotional support and guidance
- Collaborating with teachers and professionals to create a supportive learning environment
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Level 3 qualification or HLTA qualification
- Degree in relevant field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with students with special educational needs
- Knowledge of Makaton and other communication strategies
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Patience and empathy in supporting students
Working Conditions:
- Additional training in specific interventions such as music therapy or sensory occupational therapy

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
