Job description
We are seeking a talented Teaching Assistant to make a difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs.
If you have experience working with children on a 1:1 basis and are confident in communication, we want to hear from you!
As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing 1:1 support to students with diverse needs, ensuring they receive personalised attention and assistance.
- Implementing strategies and interventions to support students' development, including the use of visual aids, assistive technologies, and specialised communication techniques.
- Collaborating with the classroom teacher and other support staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Monitoring and recording student progress and behavior, and reporting any concerns or observations to the classroom teacher or SENDCO
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- An Enhanced DBS check, demonstrating suitability to work with children and young people.
- Previous experience working within a school setting, preferably with children on a 1:1 basis
- A relevant teaching qualification, demonstrating your knowledge of effective teaching practices.
- Confidence in communication, with the ability to effectively interact with students, colleagues, and parents.
