We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Needs Primary Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to our students with special needs, fostering their development academically, socially, and emotionally.Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEN, using a variety of teaching methods and resources.
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and empowered to learn.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching strategies as necessary to ensure all students are making meaningful progress.
Provide emotional support and guidance to students, helping them to develop confidence, self-esteem, and independence.
Maintain accurate records of student progress, behavior, and achievement in accordance with school policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching children with special educational needs (SEN), preferably in school setting.
Strong understanding of different learning styles and strategies for supporting students with a range of special needs, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and speech and language difficulties.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with SEN, helping them to overcome barriers and achieve success.
