Role:
If you are passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs, and have experience or passion to support children with Autism, this may be the ideal role for you!
This specialist school in Wakefield is seeing a learning support assistant to guide pupils through education and provide a quality of care to ensure they are fully prepared to take the next step in their lives - be that employment, further training, or apprenticeship.
Responsibilities:
Providing an individualised approach to the children's education
Being considerate, empathetic and calm in the way you interact with the children
Supporting children in and outside of their classroom to strive and achieve their goals
Promoting learning through the children's interest
Being guided by the teacher, and working collaboratively
