Position: One-to-One Learning Support Assistant
Location: St. Helens Mainstream Primary School
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm (term time)
Start Date: ImmediateRole Overview:
As a One-to-One Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with a specific student, providing tailored support to meet their individual learning needs. Experience working with children or adults with autism is considered advantageous for this role. The position offers a long-term, full-time commitment within a supportive environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to a student with diverse learning needs
- Assist with academic activities and personal development goals
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure the student's success
The essentials:
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Oversea Police Clarence (if necessary) and professional reference checks
- CV must cover last 10 years of employment and education.
- Legal right to work in the UK
- Qualified Teaching Status in the UK with a specialism in Primary Education
