Learning and Development Trainer

Location: Northwest - Remote Working and Regular Travel

Salary: £33,000 per annum

Full time permanent role Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week

What you'll get to do

· Work within the Horizon Academy team to create, develop and deliver inspiring and innovative learning and development solutions to support our colleagues to achieve their personal best and career ambitions.

· Be an integral part of the journey for our new colleagues by delivering bespoke and tailored induction programmes.

· Designing and delivering innovative and forward-thinking leadership programmes to support the development and growth of our future leaders.

· Keep up to date with the latest learning and development trends and sector based best practice to ensure our colleagues are receiving high quality learning and development

Essential Criteria

· Professional Qualification Achieved, This may include:

o Vocational qualification (health, education, or social care) - Level 3 as a minimum

o Social work qualification (Diploma, BSc, BA)

o Teaching or education-based qualification

o Nursing qualification (with current registration) (NMC)

o Other health professional qualification (with current HCPC or equivalent registration)

· To have at least 2 years' experience within the social care or education environment. Have good IT, communication skills both written and verbal, to maintain confidentiality and deal with situations in a sensitive manner.
