Job Description: As a KS1 Teacher in Sheffield, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of young learners in their foundational years. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and interactive lessons that are tailored to the needs and interests of KS1 students
  • Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel valued, safe, and motivated to learn
  • Implementing a creative and differentiated curriculum that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and personal growth
  • Assessing student progress and providing timely feedback to support their academic and social development
  • Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external partners to ensure the holistic well-being and success of each child
  • Engaging in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice and contribute to the continuous improvement of our school community

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
  • Previous experience teaching KS1 students preferred, but newly qualified teachers are also encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Passion for working with young children and a commitment to providing high-quality education
