Job description
Behaviour Support Assistant Location:
Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Leeds, LS10
Job Type:Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours
Primary Industry:Education and Training
Salary:£85 - £100 Per day
Job Duties:Required Qualifications:
- Provide support to children with challenging behaviour
- Assist in implementing behaviour management strategies
- Work closely with teachers and other staff members to create a positive learning environment
- Help pupils develop social skills and emotional regulation
- Record and report on student behaviour and progress
Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
Education:Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting
Experience:Demonstrated experience working with pupils with challenging behaviour
Knowledge and Skills:Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of behaviour management techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations
- Excellent record-keeping and reporting abilities
Additional training in behaviour management or special education
Working Conditions:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
