Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a new rewarding role?

Our client school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in a full time, long term role. The school supports children with ASD and other associated communication, interaction, social, imagination, sensory and learning difficulties. Some behaviour in the school is challenging so experience and confidence is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Support students with the social and emotional engagement with learning and promote independence.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team
- Promote the inclusion of all students
- Support class teachers to create a supportive and relaxed working environment
Requirements:
- Have an understanding of communication, attachment theory and SEMH needs in the classroom
- Have experience or transferable skills
- Have a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
- have satisfactory references
