Job description
Prospero Teaching are recruiting Teaching Assistants with previous experience supporting children with additional needs on a 1:1 basis.
We are working closely with an Ofsted 'Outstanding' SEN school in Ashton, Tameside for students aged 11-16 with moderate and complex learning difficulties. Staff will be required to work on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS -
- Location - Ashton, Tameside
- Position - Teaching Assistant
- Type of work - Classroom Support
- Position start date - ASAP
- Duration/Likely Duration - Ongoing (long term supply)
- Position end date - July 2024
- Full time/part time - Full Time
- Minimum rate of pay - £90+ per day
- Hours - 8.30am - 3.30pm: Monday - Friday (Term Time Only)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS -
- Sports Coaching qualification
- Previous experience working/coaching children.
- GCSE Maths & English
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application at the cost of £45
- Provide two professional references that cover the last 2 years employment/education
