Job description
Position: Head Of Maths 📐📊
Location: Thornton Heath 📍
Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday ⏰
Placement: Temporary (with potential for permanent) 🔄
Daily Rate: Paid according to your teaching scale 💷
Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) ✅
Responsibilities Include:
- Lead and manage the Maths department, spearheading curriculum development and implementation 📝
- Deliver top-notch teaching to students aged 14-19 with SEMH needs, ADHD, and other behavioural challenges 🎓💼
- Craft and execute engaging lessons tailored to diverse learning styles 🎉📝
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback and support 📈💬
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment through collaboration with colleagues 🤝🌈
Skills Required:
- QTS is a must-have for this role 🎓✨
- Extensive experience in teaching Maths, preferably in a similar SEN setting 📚🧮
- Strong leadership and organisational chops to steer the department ship ⚓️💪
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique needs of every student 🔄💡
- Stellar communication skills to connect with students, colleagues, and parents/carers 🗣💬
