Job description

Job Title: Procurement Manager

Salary: £55k-£50k per annum

Hours: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

Location: Remote with travel Cannock

We're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Procurement Manager to lead the delivery of the end-to-end procurement process for Horizon Care and Education.

Horizon's mission is to enable young people to fulfil their potential and shape their own futures through therapeutic care, support, and education.

About the Role:

As this is a leadership role, the Procurement Manager will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and work closely with various stakeholders across Support Services, Residential services, Education and Transitional Services.

Leading Horizon Care and Education's sourcing capabilities and supply chain. You will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating suppliers, products, and services, negotiating contracts, and acquiring cost-efficient products and services without compromising on quality.

To lead the delivery of the end-to-end procurement process for Horizon Care and Education. Lead and develop the day-to-day goods and service needs. Develop and implement the procurement strategy for a growing, multi-site provider of Care and Education.

Experience and skills required:

  • Strong relationship management and communication skills
  • Procurement / supplier management experience
  • Contract management
  • Strong Negotiation and influencing skills
  • Experience across various sectors would be advantageous
  • Strong Reporting and analytical skills
  • Invoice approval and contract disputes
  • Working collaboratively with internal and external teams

You will be remote working with travel to our head office based in Cannock, so a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
