Position Available: Primary Teaching Assistant - Agency Staff

Contract Type: Long-Term Contracts (Starting Immediately and in September)

Location: Richmond

About Us:

Sugarman Education are currently recruiting for a highly regarded Primary school rated outstanding who dedicated to providing exceptional education and support to students with diverse learning needs. As they continue to grow and expand, they are seeking multiple Agency Staff to join their team on long-term contracts, starting immediately and in September.

Position Overview:

We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to fill various roles within the school on long-term agency contracts. These positions include Special Education Teaching Assistants, Support Staff, and other roles as needed. Whether you're experienced in special education or looking to gain valuable experience in the field, we have opportunities available for you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff to support the delivery of high-quality education and support to students with additional needs and mild learning difficulties.
  • Assist in the implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) and behavioural support plans.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students during lessons and activities.
  • Support students with personal care tasks, as needed.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and learning.

Qualifications:

For Teaching Assistant and Support Staff Positions: Relevant experience working with individuals with special educational needs preferred.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with diverse learning needs.
  • Willingness to undergo relevant training and professional development as required.
