Job description

Here at Principal Resourcing, we offer a diverse, welcoming, and supportive educational experience for Early Years Staff seeking a new challenge.

We have an exciting opportunity for an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our talent pool in Pocklington, providing part-time support for pupils across the Early Years curriculum with immediate start. The position will initially be on a temporary basis to meet the needs of the provision.

You will work collaboratively as part of a friendly early years team, to promote consistency in learning, high achievement, positive wellbeing and be committed to providing an inclusive and supportive atmosphere for all pupils within your care.

We welcome applications from experienced practitioners and offer competitive rates of pay up to £100, depending on your experience and the role requirements.

Your role as an EYFS Teaching Assistant:

  • Support the Teacher to engage students in learning & build confidence.
  • Adapt to the diverse needs of students within your care, including those with SEN.
  • Maintain strong classroom management & promote high standards for learning.
  • Support students to positively progress, through suitable intervention.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a positive and child-centred staff team.

We are seeking candidates with:

  • A full and relevant Teaching Assistant/Nursery qualification or equivalent.
  • Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting pupil progression.
  • Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
  • Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
