SEN Teaching Assistant

Newport

£385 - £425 per week

About the role

Connex Education is working closely with an SEN School in the Newport area to recruit an SEN Teaching Assistant.

You will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students with additional learning needs, ensuring they receive the individualized support they need to thrive. Working closely with teachers and other support staff, you will provide personalized assistance, guidance, and encouragement to help students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their academic and personal goals.

About the school

Our client is an SEN school for pupils with additional learning needs, many of which have additional 'barriers to learning'. This would include ADHD, ASD, SEMH, and SpLD. Although sometimes challenging, you will not find job satisfaction like it anywhere else.

Assignment Details

The role is start as soon as possible and will be a potential long-term for the right candidate.

If you have experience in a similar role or alternatively have experience in a care/support worker background, you could be the perfect fit for this role.
