You will provide clear, functional, and outcome‑focused EHCP advice, working closely with colleges, families, SEND teams, and wider professionals to inform high‑quality decision‑making. Deliver timely, detailed, and measurable EHCP recommendations with a focus on functional skills, participation, and independence. Strong skills in assessment, clinical reasoning, report writing, and translating findings into practical EHCP outcomes. Knowledge of sensory integration, fine and gross motor development, environmental adaptations, life skills, or functional independence. All safeguarding and compliance checks must be completed before starting. All professionals working with children and vulnerable young people are responsible for promoting and protecting their welfare.

We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to support a Local Authority in delivering high‑quality statutory and functional assessments for children and young people across London. Provide timely, clear, and measurable OT advice for EHCPs, including recommendations for outcomes, provision, and environmental adjustments. Contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings, annual reviews, and SEND decision-making. Ensure practice aligns with HCPC guidance, SEND legislation, and Local Authority expectations. Experience supporting children with SEND and contributing to EHCP assessments and reports. Experience delivering training or workshops to schools or families. All safeguarding and vetting checks must be completed before starting. The successful candidate will be required to register with Prospero Teaching and complete full safeguarding and vetting checks.
