Teaching Personnel are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work in a partner school in the Rawtenstall, East Lancashire area.  The school is smaller than average and caters specifically for KS3 / 4 pupils who have SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD, ODD and challenging behaviours. The school are seeking a Learning Support Assistant, to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils who can be fairly challenging in their behaviours. The school are looking for a hard working, full time candidate who has their Team Teach qualification.

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a Darwen based SEN School which caters for pupils who have additional needs including; SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD, ODD and attachment disorder. Many of the pupils in this school have additional needs and more often that not, do display challenging behaviours! The school is smaller than average and caters specifically for pupils who can no longer remain in mainstream education, therefore, candidates must be resilient and have strong behaviour management skills.  The role will be full time, starting after the October half term and many of the pupils will require 1:1 support as they struggle to engage in the curriculum.
