Tuition Available – 1:1 maths and English Location: South East London Pay: £25/hour (PAYE – no umbrella company) Level: functional skills or GCSE (mostly foundation – some higher) Students: mostly secondary school age, some primary school age, all with additional needs I am looking for tutors to join our books, you will be taking on one or more students who require 1:1 tuition whilst they are out of school. Students may be out of school because of the following reasons: Excluded because of behaviour New to the borough Mental health difficulties – can't cope in school SEN – struggling to cope with a new or pre-existing diagnosis LAC You will provide tuition on a daily basis (Monday to Friday) for either 1, 2 or 3 hours per day, dependent on the child. You will have full responsibility of providing resources/materials and you will also be responsible for providing an assessment of the child's current working level for both subjects. SEND/Primary advisory teacher role - Redbridge Uniform Education are working with Redbridge local authority who are looking to appoint an advisory SEND teacher within Redbridge. The role: Working in various primary schools across the borough of Redbridge, working alongside head teachers and SENDCO's advising on SEND provisions and IEP's You will be home based when you are not visiting schools Monday to Friday Pay to scale Temporary to permanent position The person: Preferably you will have primary teaching experience, as you will be working with primary head teachers and SENDCO's ASD and Global delay experience SEND & IEP experience will be beneficial Flexible and be able to travel within Redbridge Car driver is essential, however, if you are prepared to use public transport to go from school to school, then that is acceptable To apply, please apply uploading your CV and ideally a cover letter covering your SEND and/or primary experience.



 Teaching Personnel

£20 - 25 per hour + pension scheme

Tutors required – South East London Teaching Personnel's Tuition Service currently supplies tutors to Greenwich and Lewisham LEAs. The virtual schools, SEND and inclusion teams refer students for one to one tuition if they are not in education for reasons including: Exclusion due to behaviour Unable to attend school due to anxiety, depression or other mental health difficulties School cannot meet the additional needs of the child (for example ASD, speech and language difficulties, ADHD, physical disabilities) Student is LAC and/or is new to the borough Generally you will be required to provide one to one tuition for maths and English at functional skills or foundation GCSE level. There is occasionally the opportunity to support children with other subjects (art, PSHE, music, languages). Tuition referrals range from an hour a day to four hours a day, and normally take place in the closest public library to the student.

The school is for students with a wide variety of additional needs, therefore a teacher who is adaptable and can teach across the curriculum and is able to create individualised and engaging lesson plans in several subjects is required for this role. All children in this class have complex needs and behavioural challenges so it is vital you have previous experience or knowledge of a similar setting.
