Teaching Personnel are actively recruiting an SEN Teacher in the Leyland area for a full time role starting in the new academic year.  The role is to teach a range of subjects across KS2 - 4 to pupils with additional needs including; SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD, ODD and challenging behaviours. The School is smaller than average and caters specifically for those who can no longer remain in mainstream education. The pupils' in school will often display fairly challenging behaviours and it is important that you are confident in your behaviour management skills to be considered for this role.

The needs of attending pupils are varied, but may include: Behavioural difficulties Anti-social and disengaged behaviour ADHD  The Role: Applicants will be working in a classroom supporting teachers and fellow support workers on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis with pupils. The role will operate between 8:30 - 15:30, Monday - Friday.


Teaching Personnel work closely with a School based close to the Accrington area, East Lancashire. The School is smaller than average and caters exclusively for KS1 / 2 pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD, Learning Difficulties and those with challenging behaviours. The pupils' who attend this school struggle to remain in mainstream education and are quite often disengaged from learning.  The role will be full time and you will report to your Teacher in class.
