SEN Teaching Assistant - London - I am working with a Primary Schools across London who are looking for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with cognitive delay, autism and other learning difficulties . All London Boroughs ASAP Start Long Term Contract Early Years, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 SEN Teaching Assistant (£80-£100 a day) You will be an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with a passion for working with children with special educational needs. In this 1:1 Teaching Assistant post you will be working on a 1:1 basis with students within any primary age group with cognitive delay, autism and other learning difficulties SEN Teaching Assistant - The Primary Schools 1, 2 or 3-form entry All schools have great results and attainment All schools have strong SLT and dedicated Headteachers Long standing School SENCO's All over London This role is to start in September and the schools are easily accessible by public transport. Special needs Teaching Assistant - London A Special school (SEN) which caters for pupils with a range of needs, including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Autism (ASD) and behavioural difficulties (EBD) is looking for Teaching Assistants to start ASAP for long-term roles. There are a high proportion of autistic children attending the school so a good knowledge and understanding of autism is essential for the role. Also, being able to work with challenging behaviour would be beneficial. The role will be very varied; you will need to be flexible to work with pupils aged 4-16 years old in a whole class setting and also 1:1 work with certain pupils.


We are currently working alongside a SEMH school in Cheadle, to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work with children and young people with Social Emotional and Mental Health needs and associated challenging behaviour and other learning difficulties, As a result of this you would be supporting the teacher in classes of no more than 10 pupils. Your role will mainly involve supporting the pupils with their new routines and classes, helping them to adapt to school both academically and socially.  You will be working with children and young people who are not able attend mainstream education for multiple reasons, such as Anxiety, Exclusion, Physical and mental health issues, disabilities and learning difficulties. The successful Teaching Assistant would have: •            Some experience working with children and young people who display challenging behaviour •            Experience of de-escalation training would be advantageous •            The school would also consider candidates from youth work backgrounds, or similar roles  This role demands motivation, passion, patience, and the ability to emotionally support children who are from vulnerable backgrounds and situations.


We are currently recruiting a Teaching assistant on behalf of a Secondary SEND school for young people with a great range of special educational needs from MLD to SLD. This position is due to begin in and will be five days' work, six hours per day until the end of the academic year. The school is based in Stockport and is easily accessible by both public transport and car.  This school is an Ofsted ‘Outstanding' provision that caters for young people with a scope of special educational needs such as, ASD Autism spectrum condition, PMLD Profound and multiple learning difficulties, VI visual impairment, SLCN Speech and language & communication and SLD Severe learning difficulties.
