Axcis Education is looking for teaching assistants for day-to-day, part time and full time cover working in a lovely mainstream secondary school on the outskirts of Bristol, Hanham area. The right individual will be looking for a flexible and varied work pattern and be available to work short term roles at short notice. As a teaching assistant in this setting, you will either be working as a general class TA in the mainstream classes or working on a more 1:1 basis in their Speech and Language and Autism unit supports students with Speech and Language difficulties and ASD from the ages of 11 - 18. The school works to the traditional curriculum and has been praised for its engaging teaching methods.

We currently work with both mainstream and special schools providing effective, experienced staff to support students with SEND.

Axcis are looking for experienced support workers to fill morning, evening and weekend shifts at a variety of residential homes around Bristol. If you've only worked with adults before this can be your chance to transition into working with children. You will be supporting children aged 4-19 years old with a range of learning disabilities and mental health difficulties from autism, complex needs and challenging behaviours in their homes. Shift patterns vary from a few hours, mornings, lates, long days and waking nights.

Axcis are pleased to be working with a mainstream primary school in Easton Bristol who're looking to recruit an experienced teaching assistant to work with children in KS2 with dyslexia. You will be running interventions working with the children in small groups of up to seven. The role is full time and the hours will be 8:30-3:30pm Monday to Friday. Ideally you will have experience working in a school as an LSA and will have worked with children with dyslexia and dyspraxia before.
