About the role The ideal candidate will have prior experience as an SEND Teacher (applications from ECTs are welcome), specifically with Autism and complex learning difficulties due to the nature of the students in the class. The ideal SEND Teacher will be comfortable in dealing with a variety of SEND needs including Autism, ADHD and Specific Learning Difficulties and working as part of a team with numerous Teaching Assistants within the class. Applications are welcome from candidates with experience working in either the Primary or Secondary sectors are welcome as the school is a co-educational site, with students ranging from 4-19 years old.

Interventions Support Teaching Assistant | Southwark Are you an experienced Intervention Teaching Assistant? Are you seeking a new role this May? We are working with a local Primary School in Southwark who require a Level 3 or Level 2 Teaching Assistant for a full-time role starting this May. They are currently looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work with their KS1 pupils carrying out intervention groups for phonics, literacy and maths, in the mornings and then whole class support in the afternoons.
* Makaton Trained Teaching Assistant * September 2022 start * Southwark, South East London * £70- £100 per day We are currently working with a lovely independent nursery and prep school in Southwark that are looking to take on a Makaton Trained TA to work one to one with 2 students throughout the next academic year. This is a 4 day per week role (Mon-Thurs) and your time would be split between 2 non-verbal children in Reception and Year 2 with mild learning difficulties, as a result applicants must be able to communicate using Makaton and will ideally have an understanding of BSL. To be considered for the role, applicants must: * Have completed Makaton training and have at least 1 year's experience using Makaton * Have previous experience working with KS1 children * Be able to support the classroom teacher and work 1:1 Why us: * Very competitive rates.
