We are currently working in partnership with a Specialist
Special Educational Needs school in Cardiff, who are currently
looking to employ a Teaching Assistant to support the class teacher
in the implementation of an adapted curriculum which is accessible
for all.
The school caters for children who have a range of Profound &
Multiple Learning Difficulties, Autism and challenging
behaviour.
Our workforce partner is a specialist educational needs school,
based in Ely, who are seeking additional support for their pupils
aged 5-16 years.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you are required to support and
improve the learning and development of each child you work with,
which is an extremely rewarding job role where no two days are the
same.
Working at the school, you should expect to manage extremely
challenging and aggressive behaviour (both physical and verbal).
With a strong interest and previous experience, personal experience
and/or knowledge of Special Educational Needs (SEN), the successful
applicant will be a resilient and motivated individual, who is
ready to start work as soon as possible and is able to provide
pupils aged 5-16 years with consistency in a learning
environment.
