Our Hampshire SEN Branch are currently working exclusively with several provisions in the Basingstoke area and we are looking for experienced SEMH Teachers to join our growing team this year. The position is to work with children who have several difficulties and are currently not attending a mainstream provision. About the role As an SEMH Teacher, you will support the named pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis and be able to work alongside other professionals including social workers, local authorities to ensure the child's lesson plans are accessible. The school do offer bespoke educational plans for each pupil, so successful candidates will be required to adapt their teaching to each individual pupil.

Have you studied or are studying Psychology and are looking to gain professional experience? We are looking for Support Workers to work with students with challenging behaviours. The Role The role takes place within a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) which is a specialised unit for students who have been excluded from mainstream school, and require an adapted curriculum to better suit their needs. In a PRU setting, students study core subjects with an aim to pass their GCSE's, however their other classes are based around vocational work and activities, designed to develop their social and emotional maturity, learn how to interact and give them key life skills.
We are currently recruiting for a specialist SEMH Teacher to work within a brand-new primary provision, leading and teaching the Year 6 curriculum. This role will be to start in February as this is when the provision is due to open. The role will be to teach the UK Primary National Curriculum to SEMH children who have been struggling in a mainstream environment. There will be 2 Learning Support Assistants in the class with you and there are only 6-8 children in the class.
