Behaviour for Learning Mentor Inspiring educators required to work across schools in Kingston and Richmond (when we come out of lockdown and schools reopen fully) Teaching Personnel is currently supporting the recruitment of an education provider based across Kingston and Richmond, who are looking for two learning mentors to work with children at risk of exclusion from school due to their behavioural difficulties. I am therefore looking for two learning support assistants who are passionate about inducing positive social and behavioural change as well as educational progression. You MUST be willing to commute across Kingston and Richmond – it is likely you will be assigned to support one child in a school in the mornings, and then another child in a different school in the afternoons Although you will be expected to deliver work set by their class teacher as part of this role, you will focus primarily on understanding the child, making a connection and coaching them. You could therefore be working with either primary or secondary age children, and must be confident in delivering core subjects at either primary school level, functional skills secondary school level or possibly foundation GCSE secondary school level.
