The school is part of a successful multi academy trust and has recently joined the trust The main duties of this role will be: Teaching a mix of 12 FS1 children and 6 FS2 children Managing a small group of teaching assistants and delegating them to work with children Working cohesively as part of a successful team Teaching phonics using the ReadWriteInc programme Following the school's behaviour and reward policies to encourage positive interaction The school are looking for someone who: Holds qualified teacher status Has at least one years' EYFS experience Can differentiate planning to meet a range of needs Build excellent relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents Is an excellent team player and will be able to fit into an experienced team Has previously taught phonics This job is set to start week commencing March 1st 2021.

Are you a recent graduate who is looking to become a teacher in the future? Are you interested in gaining more experience within a school setting prior to taking on a school-based teacher training role? Working with a Chesterfield based secondary school that can support prospective future teachers, we are looking to recruit a graduate who is able to start with the school in April. The successful Teaching Assistant will take on a full assisting role where they would work with new students in year 7 as well as older students in years 10 and 11.
Do you have experience supporting children within education? Are you looking to branch out into new schools? we work with a number of primary schools across the Chesterfield area who come to us for supply Teaching Assistants. Working on supply you will be called upon to help support within the classroom and cover any upcoming planned or unplanned absences.
