Prospero Teaching are seeking to recruit graduate Instructors, cover supervisors and unqualified aspiring teachers to work in secondary schools and academies across Wakefield.

This role will start when school is back fully operational. The successful applicant will be supporting the pupil within the primary school's integrated unit, designed especially for pupils with EHCP's in place.


Academic Appointments are currently working alongside a Special School in the Wakefield area who are looking to appoint a number of Graduate Teaching Assistants. The school are looking for a forward thinking Graduate who has a passion for pursuing a career within education. This school is very open in regards to degree discipline and currently have an on going requirement starting ASAP. The ideal candidates will have some experience working with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) or youth work background.


Academic Appointments are working alongside an alternative provision in the Wakefield area who are looking to appoint a SEMH Teacher. The provision works in partnership with local primary and secondary schools to provide an alternative education for SEMH pupils who have been permanently excluded from mainstream school. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding and successful provision that offers excellent professional development opportunities for its staff. This particular role is to work within one of their smaller provisions to support KS3 &KS4 pupils that have a mixture of challenging behaviours and some undiagnosed conditions like Autism, Asperger's and ADHD.
