Support Assistant MAKING A DIFFERENCE EVERYDAY THROUGH STAFFING, TUTORING AND SUPPLY We are seeking committed and hard-working support staff to be placed in schools in the Nottingham area. The school is a friendly SEN provision for students in KS3 and KS4 who are unable to access mainstream education due to Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and autism. You will be working in the classroom alongside the Class Teacher and other Support Staff, supporting students' wellbeing and encouraging them to engage in their learning. Successful candidates will: Come from a background in education or a related area such as youth coaching, care/support work, and any roles that involve working with children and/or young people.


Teaching Assistant with Autism spectrum disorder experience Location: Nottingham Contract: part time/day to day/full time Candidate: Must have SEN experience (ASD experience desirable) We are working closely with a specialist school in Nottingham who support students aged 5-19 years old who have a primary diagnosis of autism or in some cases, evidence of behaviours which are in accordance with such a diagnosis. All students have associated learning difficulties within the moderate to severe range. The school is an independent specialist school. The school has places for 94 full time students aged between 3and 19 years old.
