We currently have a need for Teaching Assistants to work at a school in Kettering. This school caters for up to 60 young people between the ages of 4-19 with special educational needs including MLD (mild learning difficulties), SLD (severe learning difficulties) and PMLD (profound and multiple learning difficulties). Some of the students also have sensory impairments and speech and language difficulties. The school has excellent on site facilities including a sensory room, soft play room, a library along with allotments.

The school is a friendly SEN provision for students aged 3-19 with learning needs including autism, multiple learning difficulties, and autism related complications such as speech and language issues. Your role will be in the classroom, working alongside the Class Teacher and other Support Staff to support students' wellbeing and development. You will encourage children to engage in their learning, mainly on a 1:1 basis with some work in 1:2 and group settings.
