We are recruiting for the role of an SEN Teacher for schools in the Wigan area. The school is a provision facilitating for children aged 4-14 years with ASC, PMLD and SLD. Pay ranges from £100-£120 per day, with working hours being from 8:30-3:30. Main responsibilities will include: Executing tailored lesson plans Tailoring the curriculum to specific special educational needs Engaging pupils to ensure they are on track with their development Reporting back on performance to promote best practice The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate: Teacher qualified Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Passion for the wellbeing of children with SEN Teaching Personnel can offer: 24 years' worth of industry experience and expertise A personal consultant who will guide you through the process Heavily discounted CPD training, as well as a personal online diary to manage your workload effectively All of our candidates are subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and DfE checks before being placed at a school.

The successful Teaching Assistant will support students in class across the subject areas, and deliver targeted interventions to students on a 1:1 basis during lessons and break times. Due to some of the students displaying challenging behaviour, the role will also involve working closely with pupils who have been withdrawn from lessons. Having experience in supporting children who display challenging behaviour or have a variety of SEN is not essential but beneficial to fully flourish within this role.
