We are recruiting experienced and highly motivated Residential Childcare Workers on a permanent basis to support children and young people. This will be working with a leading employer with homes that support up to 5 children aged 8-18 years with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Mild Learning Disabilities.   As a Residential Child Care Worker, you will support the children and young people with learning disabilities & emotional and Behavioural difficulties, with a primary focus on making sure the best outcomes are achieved.  Key Duties & Responsibilities  Manage challenging behaviour and handle difficult situations  Supporting with individualised care plans  Encouraging daily goals and activities  Maintaining safe environment  Remain updated with documentation and records  Keep knowledgeable with relevant legislation and policies  Promoted education and daily living skills  Undertake key-worker responsibilities    Required Skills & Experience   NVQ 3 in Children and Young people or similar   Minimum of 1 years' experience working in Children's Residential   Understand the importance of providing a stable environment for children   Experience of working with children with Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties   Full U.


We are recruiting for a Support Worker for a Supported Living Service in Newcastle on a full-time permanent basis. This will include shifts across both days and nights. This service will be working with adult service users who have a range of Autism, Complex Needs and Challenging Behaviour. You will support service users with daily activities and with independent supported living.
