As an approved National Tuition Programme partner, we are working with a primary schools in Nottingham and Derby looking for a Maths and English tutor to work with children in catch up and booster sessions. This is a part-time role and as a Maths and English Tutor you will lead afternoon sessions with small groups of children, covering English or Maths catch-up. The school is flexible on how you manage the timetable of cover, and are able to offer various hour and day combinations to suit your availability. As this role is funded through the National Tuition Programme, you are expected to track and measure progress of the pupils you are working with, communicating with school and/or parents.

This role would best suit qualified teaching assistants looking for a change, a graduate or someone wanting to take on teacher training in the future to gain more classroom experience. You will be taken on as a Teaching Assistant to: Support pupils in the classroom, carefully guiding and helping them to make good progress in key areas. Be flexible and willing to take on all challenges is a must, as you will be supporting KS1 pupils in small groups, or on a one-to-one level.
