Teaching Personnel are looking for a tutors to work 1:1 with a variety students, including Looked After Children, Children who have been excluded or present with Anxiety and SEMH. We are looking for a tutor to support this students in a library or community settings. The ideal candidate for this role will: A confident Teaching Assistant with experience delivering/implementing specific interventions either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups Knowledgeable and experienced working within the GCSE and or Functional Skills curriculum Confident to work on a 1:1 basis with a student who are very disengaged from education, using innovative measures and resources to re-engage Able to liaise with multi-disciplinary teams including school staff and LAC officers to ensure that progress is tracked on a regular basis Someone who can act as a positive role model to help the student re-engage with her education.
