1-1 Teaching Assistant
The school is a Pupil Referral Unit in Bournemouth, catering for
Secondary aged pupils who have been excluded from mainstream
education. This includes pupils who are temporarily excluded,
permanently excluded and pupils
with SEN (Autism, ADHD, SEMH). The pupils can
display challenging behaviour.
Teaching Personnel are working with a Pupil Referral Unit in
central Bournemouth that are currently looking for staff to start
ASAP. The school cater for primary and secondary pupils that have
been excluded from mainstream school, therefore all the pupils have
challenging behaviour. Alongside this they can potentially have
other needs such as:
Autism (ASC/ASD)
Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
ADHD
The majority of the current vacancies are for full time,
permanent Support Assistants who would work 1:1 or in small groups
with these pupils. The ideal candidate would have previous
experience working with similar needs or be passionate about
working in this type of school.

individual pupil under the guidance of the class teacher; to
support them with their education and to provide emotional and
behavioural support. This role can be based inside the classroom,
outside of the class in an allocated workspace, or may be
off-site.
An SEN school in the Bournemouth area are seeking an NQT of
English to join their school in September. The school recognise
the
retraints to early closures of schools on PGCE studetns and
have an
excellent NQT prgramme in place to support an NQT in their
first
year of teaching.
The school caters for students with autism and
Social Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH). It is a
Pupil Referral Unit where students will come temporarily with the
hope that they will return to mainstream school.
