One of our key Local Authority clients are looking for a tutor to support a Looked After pupil who is in Year 6 and based in the NG13 area, every morning from 9.30 - 12am. Initially we will be looking for tutors to offer online teaching whilst the lockdown restrictions are still in place, with a view to moving out to the residential home where the pupil resides once restrictions are lifted. The student is extremely disaffected and vulnerable, having suffered from domestic abuse, neglect and other trauma inducing circumstances including close family bereavement, parental drug and alcohol misuse and aggressive behaviour The student can display some challenging behaviour towards his peers and has previously been excluded from mainstream school.


Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a Tutor to support an extremely vulnerable Year 6 pupil who is a Looked After Child. We are looking for a tutor who is confident to plan and deliver core subjects to this pupil on a 1:1 basis; he is working at below age related expectations due to undiagnosed learning needs. The tutor will be required from Monday - Friday from 9.30am - 12am (with a view to increase if the placement is successful).


Teaching Personnel are recruiting tutors to work in the Nottinghamshire area either online or in the home or local library starting in September 2020. We are looking for someone that can tutor vulnerable and LAC students in Maths and English for a combination of full and part time positions. Ideal candidates for this role will be: Experienced working on a 1:1 basis with pupils either in schools or as a 1:1 tutor outside of the classroom environment Experience in teaching English and Maths in Functional Skills or GCSE's Be confident to liaise effectively with the foster carer, schools and other professionals including social workers Able to create engaging, innovative lesson plans to help keep the student motivated as much as possible Be willing to create weekly feedback reports so that progress can be tracked and monitored regularly.
